Hazelnut Ice Cream - Ketogenic and low carb

Ketogenic, low carb and gluten free hazelnut flavored ice cream.

  • 600ml of cream

  • 100ml of milk

  • 150g of Hazelnuts

  • 50g of Xylitol

  • 1g of pure Stevia powder (or replace with other 50g of [Xylitol] )

  • 1/2 tsp Pure vanilla

Directions

    In a saucepan, put 50ml of milk with xylitol, stevia and vanilla. Simmer until the ingredients have dissolved completely.

    In a separate container, add the cream with the remaining 150ml of milk. Then add, with the help of a kitchen sieve, the sweeteners previously dissolved in the bed.

    With an electric mixer, lightly whip the mixture until everything is mixed.

    Chop the hazelnuts until you get a smooth and homogeneous consistency and filter them with a sieve to avoid lumps.

    To make a hazelnut ice cream, add the hazelnut butter created earlier.

    If you prefer a vanilla ice cream you can skip this point.

    Finally put the mixture in the ice cream maker and let it go for 15-20 minutes or until the mixture has become solid and creamy.
